Dan looked over his shoulder as he heard metal shoes on the concrete and tipped his black cowboy hat as he watched Lizzy. Hearing Andy he turned around no more leaning on the door and replied with his deep southern draw,
[Yah, I know. I would rather be working but I'm teaching her how to muck a stall. What you doing here?]
Then leaning against the door he looked at Lizzy and smiled lightly as he then looked at Andy and then gathered all the people and the situation began in his head. lowly he knew what MIGHT happen and probably would stop it if she didn't want it, but hell is she did he wouldn't stop it, Andy would have to deal with a single mother himself.

Andy walked over to join him and was a little surprised that the object of Dan's attention was a cute young woman mucking a stall. Cute, but stall mucking usually wasn't a spectator sport and she wasn't even doing it very well. Her movements were jerky and she didn't seem to have much arm strength. Then Dan explained. "Why would anyone willingly submit themselves to such punishment?" Mucking stalls was a chore that had to be done and one that Andy had done many times, but it wasn't his favorite. "I was bored, los padres are training colts and didn't want me getting in the way. They've got their favorites all picked out and don't want a bronc riders heavy hand." It wasn't that he couldn't train horses, he'd trained Mick just fine, he was just impatient and working with a jumpy 2-year-old wasn't on his agenda. He lowered his voice. "She's cute, explain to me why you have her mucking stalls?"

Dan smiled as he listened to his best friend who was acting like a retard as he stopped he laughed a deep laugh as he slowly replied stepping away so she couldn't hear and grabbed his buddy's collar of his shirt and pulled him away too,
[Now Andy don't go off and try screw'n her. She needs work and this was all I had and I aint paying cheap. I'm giving her 15 bucks an hour. But I don't want a broken hearted SINGLE mom cause of my best friend. But if you honestly can't help yourself then just be careful.]
Dan looked at Andy with a cocked look of kinda warning he slowly walked back to where Lizzy was and slowly smiled sweetly and replied,
[Do'n good.]

Andy was just interested, that was all. The trim figure looked completely out of place and the pitch fork was akward in her hands. It was merely curiosity. Well, for the most part. He did sleep around a little. But it wasn't like he jumped on every female that crossed his path. Things usually happened with after a little alcohol intake at a bar. He'd see a pretty girl, dance maybe, and then see where the evening took them. He could be a gentleman when it was required, it just wasn't required very often. He raised an eyebrow as he was tugged away from the stall.
"Hey, all I did was ask why she was mucking out your stall. It seems like a valid questions. Ain't too many women working in the stables around these parts. Mom huh? She doesn't look all that old. You sound all protective, you like her?" He just grinned.
Lizzy looked up at the new voice. Another cowboy who was far too good loking for his own good. And this one had a subtle charm that was exactly what Lizzy didn't want to get tangled up in. She just nodded at Dan's compliment and stepped around Daisy to get the other side of the stall.

Dan shook his head at Andy and kept his vocals low so she wouldn't over hear their little conversation about her as he slowly looked at him then down replying,
[No..... She don't like me much. Think she's intimidated by my good looks.]
Dan was feeling a little differnert ever since his old pal came back not changing at all about the way girls where. Hell Dan use to be like that in his 19s and 20s and making a comment like that now would get his face slapt by a girl so he stayed careful. He smiled at Andy making a joke Andy would make as he leaned against the stall as she cleaned around Daisy and he replied,
[You can push her out of the way she'll get right over. Just stand next to her and push her butt over. She don't kick.]
He eyed Andy as he smiled mischeviously and he turned around slowly and replied a low way so she couldn't hear,

Andy laughed at his comment. "Your good looks? Hah, if she's scared of you, then my good looks might just run her off." The girls all seemed to go for his wiry frame and clean cut features. And if that wasn't enough, he had an easy smile that could charm the coldest hearts.
Lizzy bit her lip nervously. She was supposed to push this huge animal out of the way? Kicking? That was one more thing for her to worry about. But moved next to the mare's haunches and hesitantly put pressure against her. She was surprised and delighted when the mare moved over.
Andy grinned at Dan's proposal. "You read my mind. But can daddy take the time off from his charges to go be wild for a night?"

Dan laughed at Andy's reply to the good looks comment as he rolled his amazing blue optics. Dan wasn't to bad himself. He was tall standing at 6'3" and very muscular with no fat. He wasn't skinny either. Very buff and had strong arms. He was cleaned cut too with a shaved face and short hair. He slowly replied,
[Yah, Daddy can do what he wants when he wants. I mean Trixie's 17 and can watch Kelly and hopefully Matt won't be with her tonight. That might be a problem.]
Dan looked at his retard redneck friend then to Lizzy and smiled as a way of saying great job. Daisy slowly moved over graceiously and sweetly not caring. She slowly looked at Lizzy then back to letting her head outside.

All of Dan's responsibilities were amusing to Andy. He could settle down on his parents ranch any time he wanted, but he enjoyed the rodeo life. Ride a rank bull, have a wild night, move on to the next town. He knew that injuries would probably send him home eventually. Riding bulls and broncs was dangerous, but it gave you an incredible rush. "Invite him to come get drunk with us. I wouldn't mind hanging out with him and then you know he's not with Trixie."
Lizzy finished up that stall and then moved on to the next one. She rolled the big wheel barrow in front of the stall and then started mucking it out. Andy watched with mild interest. "I think she's got the idea. Let's go do something. Got any good broncs?"

Dan listened to Andy's idea... It wasn't to bad. That might work. Dan just watched her and tipped his head in a way of saying good job. Dan looked at his pal as he looked to Lizzy and replied,
[Will you be ok?]
He slowly stepped away from the door as an anxious stud woul if they were excited. Well Dan was a stud. He smiled lightly and replied to Andy waiting for Liz's reply,

Liz looked up at the question and nodded. She would feel better without having the two good looking cowboys standing just outside the stall. She was getting a little better at it, but she wasn't used to this kind of work.
Andy glanced at her one more time before giving Dan full attention. "Nice, sounds good to me. Don't wanna get rusty while I'm here. Hey lady, you wanna see cowboys work, come out to the arena."

Dan smiled at her sweetly as he looked at Andy. He was shocked at his rudeness of calling her lady. Thawasn't the nicest thing to say to such a pretty girl...... Dan attempted to elbow Andy in the gut being real close to him and Dan was fast. He replied,
[Andy? She's got a name.]
He looked at her and smiled nervously from his friends rude behavior as Dan slowly looked at Andy fix what he said by maybe asking her name or say sorry or something. But knowing Andy he would punch Dan back.

Andy grunted as Dan's elbow contacted with his abs. He scowled and punched him in the shoulder. "Yeah, but since you haven't told me what it is, lady seems to fit." He moved over to the stall she was working on and leaned against the stall door. "Sorry, Dan was remiss in his manners. I'm Andy."
His initial address had been rather rude, but Lizzy couldn't help but find him charming. He seemed like the more dangerous of the two, but there was something about him and she couldn't help but smile shyly. "I'm Lizzy. And I should finish these stalls." Andy shrugged. "You're missing an excellent chance to see your boss eat dirt."

Dan pulled his shoulder up as it made contact with Andy's fist but it didn't hurt. He watched Andy as he heard what he said then heard Lizzy's vocals. It seemed she saw more thing she liked in Andy and Dan took the plow like a punch in the face. He rolled his amazing blue obtics at him eating the dust. Dn hadn't fallen off in about 2 years... ALthough he wasn't consistitly bull or bronc riding. Dan slowly replied knowing Andy wanted to show off to her and make Dan back but Dan was going to play back.
[You can watch. It's fine I don't care. I'll clean them later.]
He slowly walked out of the barn with his spur jingling and walked to the bull and bronc arena as he replied to all the men to hear,
[Load up a few good bulls. Someone thinks they are better then me.]
Dan looked at Andy as all the men looked at him and shook their head's laughing as they knew Dan as pretty D.amn good and they jumped from the railing and loaded the pulled in waiting panels and one yelled,
[Who's first? BLack Jack is ready!]
Dan looked at Andy and replied smirking an smartass smile,
[Ladies first Andy.]

Lizzy wasn't sure what she was even supposed to be going to watch. But she did know that she was here to do a job and she couldn't be slacking off on the first day. "Thank you, but I'd rather not. I really do need to finish these." Andy rolled his eyes good naturedly. "One thing you'll learn about ranch life, there's always time for a little break. Unless you're Dan. But that's why he lets me hang around, to lighten things up." Now Lizzy didn't want to be rude by refusing. "Well, I suppose for a few minutes..." She leaned the pitch fork against the stall door and stepped out. Andy headed out to the arena and Lizzy followed, still not sure what was going on. Andy stopped and faced Lizzy. "We're gonna ride some bulls and broncs. I'm a rodeo rider, this is what I do for a living. Just stay on the rail here." He tipped his hat to her and headed off to the pens. Lizzy was still just confused. Andy was far too confident, but it was oddly attractive. She leaned against the railings and watched the events going on in front of her.
"She's hot and scared as H.ell. Intersting lady. Anyway, weren't we discussing broncs earlier? Whatever." He climbed up on the fence and settled on the back of the big black bull. He got his rope set and got a good grip. He smirked at Dan. "Yeah, I always get the ladies first." And a second later he nodded for the gate to be opened.

Dan slowly watched Andy then stopped. He looked at Lix to much to make it not obvious. Dan just replied slowly,
[Yah.]
He watched Andy as he stood on the rail. Dan looked at the boys who opened the gate and the gate flew open. The black bull jumped out of the shoot and pounded the ground with his front hooves first. Thunder struck ground as it seemed and Dan laughed as the bull threw itself left to right, then right to left. up and down and down and up. He then would switch ways and do a complete different series of bucks. Dan watched Andy of corse NOT wanting for him to fall off. Hell if Lizzy like Andy that was fine with Dan. A little hurt but nothing a cowboy could get over... Well maybe. Dan looked over to Lizzy and smiled sweetly as he then looked to andy and smiled at him hoping he would stay on.
